Ramesh Ananthakrishnan, B.Eng. MSc, Director UK and India
Ramesh is the founder in 1991 of DSM Soft Pty Ltd in India and is now the managing director of the DSM group of companies.. He has grown the business from a staff of 3 in 1992 to its present level. Educated in the USA he worked there for a time assisting companies to improve their production flow-lines. He has brought this experience to bear in
building a quality led, production resource in India in the field of Geomatics / geospatial engineering. He continues to drive forward the development of the company’s production resource towards the goal of creating a truly world class business.

Duncan Robinson, BSc, Dip Cartography, Director, UK
Duncan graduated and worked for some years as a geologist throughout Asia. He subsequently studied Cartography at post-graduate level. He has worked as the Production Manager for a cartographic production company in London and then for six years as the Cartographic Manager of Harper Collins Publishers in Glasgow. He joined DSM GeoData in 2001 as production manager and contributes his very significant map-making knowledge and production management skills to DSM GeoData.

Ganesh Ananthakrishnan, B.Eng, Financial Controller UK and India
Ganesh is a founder director of DSM Soft and jointly with Ramesh
has been responsible for the development of the
business to its current size. Ganesh is responsible
for the financial management and administration of
the business in India and acts as financial
controller of the UK business.

Douglas Eamer, Regional Sales
Manager, UK
Doug has significant senior level industry
experience, with in-depth knowledge of data products
and services, data management and integration
solutions; gained through many years of direct
experience of business development, general
management, project management and consultancy. His
experience across a range of established industry
providers is helping DSM to consolidate existing and
develop new markets.

Ravinder Prasad, B.Eng.
Vice President - Support Services, India
Ravinder graduated in Civil Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Rajasthan, India. He has been with DSM since 1994. At DSM he has been instrumental in successfully managing various GIS data conversion projects. He has broad experience of cartographic and topographic mapping projects and has significant experience of utilities mapping, cadastral mapping and mapping from satellite imageries. He has been closely associated with the development of the production relationship between SDS and DSM and is now responsible for DSM GeoData’s production in India working closely with
Vinu Dhanapalan.

Avinash M.V, Associate Vice
President - Operations, India
Avinash is a civil engineer with a master’s diploma
in GIS and has been working with DSM Soft for the
past 9 years. He is a very dynamic and extremely
capable leader, who believes in adopting latest
techniques and technologies in every aspect of work.
Avinash started his career in DSM as a project
leader and over the course of his stint here, he has
played a key role in building and nurturing a strong
application development team and has now progressed
to holding the position of Associate Vice President
- New Services Development. The New Services
Development team under him is now engaged in
building a range of service offerings to a wide
variety of GIS and internet communities.

Vinu
Dhanapalan, Associate Vice President - Operations,
India
Vinu holds a Masters Degree in Marine Geology and
Post Graduate Diploma in GIS, before joining DSM
Soft in 2001. He is now a Associate Vice President –
Operations and now heading the Geospatial SBU of DSM
Soft. Having successfully organised and worked on
large Mapping projects over the years, Vinu has a
good understanding of all the Photogrammetry process
and excels in Photogrammetry and GIS domains. He is
responsible for coordinating all project activities,
customer communication, ensuring cooperation,
cohesion, collaboration and teamwork between the
production, technical and consulting functions of
the project.

Venkatesh Prabhu C, Manager -
Engineering Services, India
Venkatesh, a Mechanical Engineering graduate has
been one of the long serving members in the
DSM-Engineering Services team. He has a consistently
proven growth path along with DSM for the past 10
years. This track of work has provided him the
challenges of working in diverse applications and
domains in all respect. He has working experience in
projects for various industries like Automobile,
General Mechanical, Heavy Equipments, Pressure
Control Devices, Special purpose machines etc. He is
good at managing projects, satisfying customer needs
and expectations through resourceful problem solving
and accurate communication.

production resources and maintains a significant
capacity at its production centres in India, with
experienced photogrammetric and GIS data engineers,
supported by a team of developers.
