Ramesh Ananthakrishnan, B.Eng. MSc, Director UK and India
Ramesh is the founder in 1991 of DSM Soft Pty Ltd in India and is now the managing director of the DSM group of companies.. He has grown the business from a staff of 3 in 1992 to its present levels of 800. Educated in the USA he worked there for a time assisting companies to improve their production flow-lines. He has brought this experience to bear in building a quality led, production resource in India in the field of Geomatics / geospatial engineering. He continues to drive forward the development of the company’s production resource towards the goal of creating a truly world class business.

Duncan Robinson, BSc, Dip Cartography, Director, UK
Duncan graduated and worked for some years as a geologist throughout Asia. He subsequently studied Cartography at post-graduate level. He has worked as the Production Manager for a cartographic production company in London and then for six years as the Cartographic Manager of Harper Collins Publishers in Glasgow. He joined DSM GeoData in 2001 as production manager and contributes his very significant map-making knowledge and production management skills to DSM GeoData.

Ganesh Ananthakrishnan, B.Eng, Financial Controller UK and India
Ganesh is a founder director of DSM Soft and jointly with Ramesh has been responsible for the development of the business to its current size. Ganesh is responsible for the financial management and administration of the business in India and acts as financial controller of the UK business.

Ravinder Prasad, B.Eng. Operations Manager India
Ravinder graduated in Civil Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Rajasthan, India. He has been with DSM since 1994. At DSM he has been instrumental in successfully managing various GIS data conversion projects. He has broad experience of cartographic and topographic mapping projects and has significant experience of utilities mapping, cadastral mapping and mapping from satellite imageries. He has been closely associated with the development of the production relationship between SDS and DSM and is now responsible for DSM GeoData’s production in India working closely with Duncan Robinson.

Olivia Masters, BSc, Photogrammetric Manager
Olivia graduated from Glasgow University with an honours degree in Topographic Science and joined DSM GeoData. She started with the company as a photogrammetrist, was then promoted to project leader for some of our major contracts and in 2003 she became Photogrammetric Manager of DSM GeoData. She is responsible for all photogrammetric production both in the UK and Indian offices and spends her time in both countries.

C K Murali, B.Eng. Technical & Planning Manager India
Murali holds a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India. Since joining in 1994, he has been involved in various cadastral, topographic and cartographic mapping projects. Murali has considerable knowledge of legacy data migration projects and has been involved in automation of various parts of the production process.

Greg Butt, BSc. GIS Manager
Greg graduated from the University of Cape Town, South Africa in 1989 and built his career on the African continent working for DeBeers / Anglo American companies culminating in the role of GIS Manager for the Ashanti Goldfields, the largest producer in Zimbabwe. He joined DSM GeoData in 2001 when he came to the UK. Greg has brought a wide range of GIS expertise to DSM and has been responsible for developing the company’s working practises and methods in the UK and India.

Kishore Muthukrishnan, Bcom, ACA, CWA (Grad)
Kishore is the Commercial Manager of DSM GeoData. He is based in the Scottish office and has overall responsibility for commercial, accounting and administration functions of the business. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant in 1997 and spent the following 4 years with KPMG as an Assistant Manager in the Assurance Division. He was responsible for auditing large multi-nationals which included, Pepsi, Gillette and Kone Elevators. He has also worked as a senior financial research analyst in India for a US based corporation that provided complex analysis for investment banks across Europe. He joined DSM GeoData in 2003 and brings his considerable financial experience to the company’s operations.
